Warmzone's commitment to being the leading provider of the industry's most trusted and proven systems means that we continually test and develop new radiant heat systems. We are committed to offering the widest selection of only the best, most advanced systems to our customers. Some of the most trusted radiant heat systems include:
ComfortTile®: The ComfortTile floor heating system features thin heat cable that is available pre-spaced in mats or individual lengths off of spools. The free-standing cable off the spool is best for installing in intricate, custom-shaped rooms and areas, while the mats are better suited for layout in standard-shaped rooms. The floor heating mats consist of the thin, twin-conductor cable, pre-spaced on a flexible mesh backing. The mats can be rolled out for quick, easy installation, and they have an adhesive backing so that they can be secured to the subfloor. The proper cable spacing is also assured with the heating mats. The pre-terminated cable can be installed to heat just about any area or type of flooring, but it is particularly well suited for heating tile and stone floors. ComfortTile heat cable is Warmzone’s most popular floor heating system and comes with an impressive 25-year warranty.
In-Slab™ Floor Heating: The In-Slab floor heating system features rugged heat cable that is designed to be installed in concrete slabs. The durable cable is thicker than other floor heating cable because of its application in concrete. The heat cable is secured to re-mesh and then the concrete is poured (making this an affordable and popular option for heating basement floors. Concrete’s thermal properties make In-Slab systems economical and highly efficient. Just about any type of flooring can then be installed over the concrete slab. In-Slab floor heating cable carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
FilmHeat™: This unique system features a paper-thin (0.016-inches) heating element that is ideally suited for warming floating floors, including laminate, wood, LVT, bamboo, etc. Because the heating element is so thin, there is no floor buildup. The FilmHeat panels are affordable and serve as the recommended solution for heating floating floors. FilmHeat heating panels are GFCI protected and UL approved for safety. The system carries a 25-year warranty.
RetroHeat®: The RetroHeat system allows homeowners to add radiant heat without tearing up the existing floors. However, one must have access to the floor joists (crawl space or basement) in order to install this system. RetroHeat utilizes the same type of heating element as the FilmHeat (with subtle differences). The thin heating element is stapled up between the floor joists and then batt insulation is applied over the heating element to minimize heat loss by directing the heat upward to warm the floor. The system is affordable and effectively heats most types of floors. RetroHeat is UL approved and carries a 25-year warranty.
FoilHeat™: This innovative electric radiant floor heating system is an excellent value and primarily for use under laminate, engineered wood, glued hardwood, and carpeted floors. Some advantages of using FoilHeat include ease of installation, rapid response time, and uniform heating of your laminate flooring. The system consists of thin, fluoropolymer insulated heating cables that are sandwiched between two layers of specially reinforced aluminum foil. It is available in predetermined lengths with cold tail and is ideally suited for heating floating floors (no need for thin-set or mortar). The system is simple to install and can be cut onsite to fit custom-shaped areas.
Prodeso® Floor Heating Membrane: The Prodeso floor heating system features a thin membrane that is designed for heating floors without expansion joints in the screed. It is less than ¼-inch thick and can be installed over the entire subfloor as an uncoupling, crack isolating, and waterproofing membrane. The Prodeso system is designed to be used in conjunction with the ComfortTile heat cable. The heating cable is routed through the pre-engineered channels of the membrane. The cost-saving system results in just a ¼-inch buildup of the floor.
